This year for the market of Charity of the school of my son I needed a nice idea but really cheap ... and then here is the cd-cards, or to hang as you like ... at almost zero cost! :-)
Of course I used the recovery cd and then scrap paper, gift and decoupage. I covered the front of the CD with the paper, sized with glue stick and trimmed with a cutter. In some cases I have used two different cards, with a tear in the middle ... other and sometimes left as shown with Distress Ink.
Then I decorated the front of the cd using various embellishments for scrapbooking, pictures from greeting cards, or decoupage (stars and snowflakes are brought embossed with a double sided adhesive pad). The rhinestones surround the picture ...
On the back I glued the ribbon first and then I hang x covered with colored paper with the front.
The package I have included a note with the tape attached on the back (not attached to the CD, so if you want you can remove), so that those who purchase the CD can decide whether to use it to hang on the tree, as a Christmas picture or as a business cards, using the note included! :-DA to the school teachers and other moms liked the idea a lot ...
